The new German ambassador introduces himself to Kosovars with a video: I can't wait to meet you, Kosovo is an important partner

The new German Ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph, briefly introduced himself to Kosovars and his country's support for Kosovo through a video.

He said that Germany is proud to have supported an independent and sovereign Kosovo and that he will continue to support Kosovo's international integration and its integration into the European Union.

"For us Germans, Kosovo is a good friend and an important partner. And we have been proud to have supported Kosovo as an independent and sovereign nation for a long time. And I want to support Kosovo's international integration, especially its path towards the European Union," he said.

The new ambassador says he is 'looking forward' to getting to know the people of this country and trying the food.

"And most of all, I look forward to getting to know all of you and this beautiful country and its wonderful food," he said.
