The number of visitors is increasing, these are the countries from where tourists come to Kosovo

In September of this year, the number of visitors (domestic and foreign) to hotels was 64,727, of which 39.1 percent were domestic and 60.9 percent were foreign. According to the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, compared to September 2024 (when there were 62,393 visitors), there was an increase in the total number of visitors to hotels by 3.7 percent.

Meanwhile, the number of overnight stays was 146,598, of which 50.6 percent were from locals and 49.4 percent from foreigners.

The Peja region has the largest number of domestic visitors and their nights of stay in hotels by region.

"The Peja Region has the largest number of domestic visitors to hotels with 8,281 visitors and 25,048 overnight stays," ASK announced.

Meanwhile, the number of foreign visitors and their nights of stay in hotels, according to the countries they come from, is led by Albania, followed by Germany, Switzerland and Turkey.

"Regarding foreign visitors, compared to the previous period (September 2024) the number of visitors has remained the same, without change. In total 39,397 foreign visitors, of which the largest number were from: Albania, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, etc.," the Kosovo Agency of Statistics reports.
