The singer ends her engagement after 3 years, separates from her girlfriend

British singer Emeli Sandé has ended her engagement to pianist Yoana Karamova.

The 38-year-old artist confirmed this to the British newspaper The Sun. According to Sandé, the couple decided to split last summer, reports Indeksonline.

"It's sad, but we've decided to separate. We still care deeply for each other, but we needed to focus our time and energy on our musical careers," the singer said.

Sandé and Bulgarian classical pianist Karamova went public with their relationship in April 2022. They announced their engagement in September of that year.

The couple had planned to marry in 2023, but postponed the wedding due to Sandé's busy schedule.Indeksonline/
