Suspect for "Attempted Murder" extradited from Switzerland to Kosovo, wanted on international arrest warrant

A Kosovo citizen, wanted by an international arrest warrant for the criminal offense of "Attempted Murder", has been extradited from Switzerland to Kosovo.

According to the official announcement of the Kosovo Police, the extradition was carried out by the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination with relevant police units and justice institutions.

The suspect was arrested by Swiss authorities after an international arrest warrant was issued against him by Kosovo justice institutions. He is suspected of the criminal offense of "Attempted Murder" and, according to the authorities, had evaded justice for a period of time.

The extradition was made possible thanks to close cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Switzerland.

Upon arrival in Kosovo, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police units for further legal proceedings.

The Kosovo Police has emphasized that it will continue to cooperate with local institutions and international partners, with the aim of preventing, investigating and detecting criminal activities, as well as tracking and arresting persons wanted by justice./IndeksOnline/
