Three girls arrested in Paris on suspicion of planning terrorist attack
French anti-terrorism prosecutors have charged and imprisoned three girls, suspected of planning a terrorist attack.
The girls, aged 18, 19 and 21, were officially placed under investigation and remanded in custody, according to France's National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office.
According to Le Parisien, one of the suspects, referred to as 'B', had around 20,000 followers on TikTok, where she allegedly posted pro-jihadist content.
Investigators believe she may have played a leadership role in the three-girl group.
It is suspected that the girls discussed violent acts online, mentioning firearms as well as possible targets such as a concert hall or a bar in Paris.
