Sessions resume tomorrow, is the Assembly being constituted?

Tomorrow at 11:00, the sessions for the constitution of the Assembly will continue.

All this after the full verdict of the Constitutional Court.

However, Kosovar analysts estimate that without a political agreement, it is unlikely that the Assembly will be constituted.

The 120 deputies of the ninth legislature will gather tomorrow morning for the continuation of the constitutive session, following the judgment published by the Constitutional Court that brought new rules for the constitution of the Assembly.

The head of state, Vjosa Osmani, called the constitution of the legislative body a state emergency.

"In this period of dynamic developments on the continent and global challenges that also affect our region, the rapid establishment of new institutions in accordance with the procedures foreseen in the Constitutional Court's judgment is vital for stability, democratic representation and addressing the interests of citizens," said Osmani.

According to the Presidency, the delay in the establishment of institutions so far has damaged not only the credibility of the institutions and the country's development, but also the country's progress in the international arena.

The last constitutive session was held on July 26.
