Tragedy in Berat: 43-year-old dies after falling from tree while picking olives

A serious incident occurred this afternoon in the village of Duhanas, Berat, where a 43-year-old man lost his life after falling from an olive tree.

According to media in Albania, the victim has been identified as Ermal Rripi, who was picking olives at the time of the accident.

After the incident, the 43-year-old was urgently transported to the Berat Regional Hospital, but despite immediate medical assistance, he was unable to survive his injuries and died.

The incident has been confirmed as accidental and no other circumstances are suspected.
