Trim Tërnava is confirmed as the new CEO of KOSTT

The Board of Directors of KOSTT JSC, after conducting a transparent and competitive process, in accordance with the Law on Public Enterprises, at the meeting held on January 19, 2026, unanimously appointed Mr. Trim Tërnavë as Chief Executive Officer of KOSTT JSC, a position he will assume on February 16, 2026.

“Following a transparent and competitive process, in accordance with the Law on Public Enterprises, the Board of Directors of KOSTT JSC, at its meeting held on January 19, 2026, unanimously appointed Mr. Trim Tërnava as Chief Executive Officer of KOSTT JSC, who will assume this position on February 16, 2026. Mr. Trim Tërnava completed his master’s degree in Energy Economics at Rice University, in the United States of America, while he completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pristina. Mr. Trim Tërnava has advanced academic and professional training in the energy sector, with a focus on energy economics, energy market development, energy transition, and regional and European integration processes. He has a decade of professional and leadership experience in the energy sector and aims to strengthen the role of KOSTT in achieving and advancing the strategic objectives of the company, emphasizing safe, sustainable and "reliability of the Transmission System and the Electricity Market," KOSTT said in a statement.
