Trump speaks on the amount of oil seized from Venezuela
US President Donald Trump said that his country and South America would benefit from taking Venezuelan oil.
"Over 50 million barrels of oil have already entered or are entering the United States of America, and many more are expected to come," Trump told reporters, speaking from Air Force One, as he returned from Switzerland where he attended the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Trump added that the US will take some of the oil and use it to benefit economically, while noting that Venezuela will also benefit from this.
"It will be divided and our country will become richer, which means our taxes will go down and they will get better too. Venezuela will be doing better than ever before. Although we are getting a very fair share."
"Venezuela is going to do much better than it has ever done. They are going to become very rich," the White House chief of staff stressed.
