Turkey shoots down drone over Black Sea: It was approaching airspace
The Turkish Armed Forces shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle that was approaching their airspace from the north over the Black Sea.
In a statement, the Turkish Defense Ministry said the unidentified aircraft was being monitored following all standard procedures.
"To ensure airspace security, F-16 aircraft belonging to NATO forces and national forces undertook a rapid response mission," the official announcement said.
