Two weapons and 82 cartridges seized in Koriša, Prizren
Yesterday, a citizen reported a disturbing case to the Prizren-North Police Station.
According to the complainant's statement, he had observed a suspect taking a long gun out of his vehicle.
The complainant expressed fear due to previous disputes with the suspect regarding a disputed property.
In this regard, by verbal order of the State Prosecutor and with the consent of the pre-trial judge, a search (raid) was conducted in the suspect's apartment in the village of Korishë, Prizren, in the presence of the ex officio appointed defense attorney.
According to information, during the search, the following material evidence was found and seized:
• A single-barreled shotgun
• An air rifle
• Eighty-two (82) shotgun shells
All weapons found were found to have valid permits issued by the competent authorities.
The suspect admitted that on 12.10.2025 he had removed the weapon from the vehicle with the intention of sending it for repair.
The State Prosecutor has been informed again about the actions taken. According to his decision, the weapons found will be temporarily seized for security reasons, while the case will be processed in the regular manner. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
