UN condemns attack on Doha: Flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and territorial integrity

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned the Israeli attack on Doha, Qatar, saying it constitutes a "flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and territorial integrity."

Speaking at a press conference moments after the attack on Hamas leaders in Qatar, Guterres described Qatar as "a country that has played a very positive role in achieving a ceasefire and the release of all hostages."

He urged the parties to work to achieve a permanent ceasefire and not to destroy it.

"All parties must work to achieve a permanent ceasefire, not to destroy it," the UN chief said.
