"US-Ukraine-Russia talks to continue tomorrow"/ Abu Dhabi, US official: Today's meeting productive
Trilateral talks on the war between Russia, Ukraine and the United States, held in Abu Dhabi, have concluded for today and are expected to continue tomorrow.
A White House official confirmed that today's meeting was constructive.
"Today's trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi between the United States, Ukraine and Russia was productive. Talks will continue tomorrow," he said.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that territorial issues will be part of discussions in Abu Dhabi.
These issues remain one of the main sticking points, as Russia demands that Ukraine hand over the territory it still holds in the eastern Donetsk region, which is estimated to be around 20%.
Zelensky has rejected such a request, stressing that Ukraine will not give up territory it has successfully defended, but at great cost, over the past few years.
