Ukraine peace talks: Witkoff and Kushner arrive in Moscow to meet Putin
Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump's special envoy, and the US president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, arrived in Moscow this evening for talks with Kremlin strongman Vladimir Putin regarding the war in Ukraine.
The Kremlin announced that the two American officials immediately headed to the Kremlin, where talks have already begun.
According to Russian news agencies TASS and RIA Novosti, the plane carrying the American envoys landed at Moscow's Vnukovo airport, coming from Switzerland, where Witkoff and Kushner had attended the World Economic Forum in Davos.
We recall that today Zelensky announced from Davos that an American delegation will travel to Moscow today, following the conclusion of his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian team will first meet with representatives of the United States, and then, starting tomorrow, a two-day trilateral meeting between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States will take place in the United Arab Emirates.
