Water supply cut off in some parts of Gjakova, KRU "Gjakova" issues an announcement

The regional water supply company KRU "Gjakova" has announced interventions in the water supply and sewage network, which, as a result, during the implementation of drinking water supply works in several areas.

Based on the RWC announcement, works on the water supply network will be carried out on these roads.

We would like to inform you that on 11.02.2026 (Wednesday) there will be a temporary interruption of drinking water supply in some parts of the city of Gjakova.

The areas that will be affected by the outage are:

– Transit route

– “Queen Teutë” Street with side streets

– “Musa Zajmi” Street with side streets

– “Ali Pashë Tepelena” Street with side streets

– “Petro Nini Luarasi” Street with side streets

– “Bihije Dashi” Street with side streets

Time: from 08:00 to 15:00.

The interruption comes as a result of the continuation of works on the transit road, a project implemented as co-financing between the Municipality of Gjakova and the KRU "Gjakova", where the contracted operator has reached the stage of implementing the main water supply connections.

Due to the importance and complexity of the main branch connections, at the Sports Palace, at the "IP Petrol" gas station, as well as in the vicinity of the court building, the temporary interruption of the water supply is necessary.Indeksonline/
