Brooklyn Beckham is speaking publicly for the first time following rumors of a falling out with his parents, David and Victoria.

The celebrity couple's eldest son posted a series of photos on Instagram on Monday, revealing the current state of their relationship. Indeksonline.

“I have been silent for years and have done my best to keep these matters private,” Brooklyn began. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to speak out to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about just some of the lies that have been published. I don’t want to agree with my family. I am not being controlled, I am standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

The 26-year-old revealed that the problems with his parents began around the time he married model and actress Nicola Peltz in 2022. Victoria, who founded her eponymous clothing line in 2008, was initially set to design Peltz's dress, although those plans fell through.

"My parents have been trying endlessly to break up my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped. My mom canceled Nicola's dress at the last minute, despite how excited she was to wear her own design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress," Brooklyn wrote.

Brooklyn revealed that he has also distanced himself from his younger brothers, Romeo and Cruz.

"Ever since I started standing up for myself and my family, I have received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, which were sent to the press at their own request. Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they blocked me last summer," Brooklyn added.

Brooklyn then explained why he decided to renew his vows with Peltz just three years after their wedding.

"My mom hijacked my first dance with my wife, which was planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song," he declared. "I have never felt worse or more humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to redo our vows so that we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment."

Brooklyn went on to tell how he and Peltz tried to reconcile with his father.

"Despite this, we traveled to London for my dad's birthday and were turned away for a week while we waited in the hotel room trying to plan a time to be with him," Brooklyn said.

“He refused all our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras everywhere. When he finally agreed to meet me, it was on the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family traveled to Los Angeles, they refused to meet me at all.”
