Why are you regaining the weight you lost?

Gaining the pounds you lost with so much effort is frustrating! Despite diets and physical exercises, you "gained" them back, but why?

There are some habits you do every day that you are probably unaware of that are causing you to regain the weight you lost.

1. Sometimes, excessive exercise makes you gain pounds.

It's possible to gain weight even if you're exercising, at least temporarily. As you exercise, your muscles swell and become stronger, but don't worry, as it just looks like you've gained weight, but you'll see the real results a little later.

2. You're not consuming enough fiber and protein.

If you neglect fiber and protein, don't be surprised if the pounds come back. Fiber helps you control hunger and gives you a feeling of fullness. Therefore, it's good to eat vegetables, beans, nuts, etc.

3. You are very, very social.

Our social lives play a big role in our work-life balance. If you spend most of your time out with friends, you're likely to binge drink and eat unhealthy fast food. The more you go out, the more calories you'll add to your body!

4. Get too many calories from drinks

Our brain doesn't calculate the calories we consume from drinks, so if you don't control yourself, don't be surprised later.

5. Fatigue

Lack of sleep is linked to weight gain. Hormonal changes also come with a lack of desire to exercise, so make sure you get a good night's sleep. 7 hours is enough to keep those extra pounds off!
