With only 274 votes difference, Thaçi is elected mayor of Obiliq

Monday, 10 November 2025 9:31The Vetëvendosje Movement will lead the Municipality of Obiliq for the first time.
This is because the VV candidate in this municipality, Halil Thaçi, defeated Xhafer Gashi of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
According to the CEC, Thaçi secured 51,09% or 6,441 votes, while Gashi secured 48,91% or 6,167 votes.
The number of voters on the Voters' List in this municipality was 26,210 voters, while participants in these elections were 12,837./Indeksonline/
