Xhafer Tahiri loses elections in Vushtrri

LDK candidate Xhafer Tahiri came third in the race for mayor of Vushtrri Municipality in the local elections on October 12.

Tahiri received 19,72 percent of the vote, ranking third after PDK and Vetëvendosje.

Tahiri said that even though he did not win this time, he is proud of the dignified campaign, the sincere dedication, and the only political program that centered on women and the well-being of the Vushtrri family.

While he has said that his love for the city of his heart is eternal and that it neither increases nor decreases by the result of a competition.

"Thank you to each of you who voted for me, for our program and for the Democratic League of Kosovo. Even though we did not win this time, I am deeply proud of each of you - for the dignified campaign, for the sincere dedication and for the only political program that centered on the woman and the well-being of the Vushtrri family. My love for the city of my heart neither increases nor decreases by the result of a race - it is eternal," said Tahiri.

Ndertsa said that LDK in Vushtrri today is a stable party, with real people, with activists who gave all their energy to this battle.

"Sooner or later, victory is ours," said Tahiri.
