AAK reacts to Borelli: His approach to changing borders is destructive for dialogue

The inaccuracy and tendentious stance of EU High Representative Josep Borrell regarding the idea of changing borders, as stated in the media yesterday, is detrimental to the peace and stability of the region.

The inaccuracy and tendentious stance of EU High Representative Josep Borrell, regarding the idea of changing borders, as stated in the media yesterday, is harmful to the peace and stability of the region, and we consider it a destructive approach in relation to their role as facilitator in the American-led dialogue to reach a final agreement on mutual recognition of the existing borders between Kosovo and Serbia.

Any attempt to return us to an unclear process, unframed in time, and without principles of dialogue, will be counterproductive, and will be strongly rejected by Kosovo and its people, as in the past. Who are determined for Kosovo within the borders of independence of February 17, 2008, as recognized by the absolute majority of Western democratic states, led by the USA, states in the reaction of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
