The US Embassy strongly criticizes the current government's spending, hopes for a different policy from the incoming government

The US Embassy in Pristina has been very critical of the Haradinaj Government for its spending since Haradinaj became Prime Minister, writes Indeksonline.

Through a post on Facebook, the US Embassy asked whether the new government would reverse the trend of reckless spending and unmerited appointments.

The announcement also raises the question of whether the incoming government will move Kosovo towards responsible governance.

"Will the new government reverse the trend of reckless spending, meritless appointments, and other corrupt practices to put #Kosovo on a path to good governance and fiscal responsibility? The clock is ticking to find out. #RuleOfLawInKosovo," the post reads.

Otherwise, the previous Government will be remembered as the Government with the most ministers, 21 of them, five deputy prime ministers and over 80 deputy ministers, and all of these officials also employ a large number of their political advisors, drivers and other employees.Indeksonline/
