Antoneta recounts the terrifying event in Serbia: I thought I would end up a prostitute, I saw horror with my own eyes

The contestant of the "Përputhen" column, Antoneta, was invited today to the "Pop Culture" show, where during the interview with Dojna Mema she told about her trip to Serbia. Antoneta said that she saw horror with her own eyes after being on a bus with only Serbs and everyone was talking about her and her friend.

"I took a bus trip to Serbia with my friends and one of the girls was stopped at the border. We were on the bus with only Serbs, who were cursing us for being late and saying only "Albanian, Albanian". It was 12 o'clock in the night, and a horror movie was playing on the bus and it was scary as everyone was talking about us. We didn't have a contact number of the person who would be waiting for us because we would stop in the middle of the road and we couldn't communicate because no one there spoke English. Only one person knew, who as soon as he said he would help us started talking only on the phone. It became a very uncomfortable situation. We didn't know where we would end up. My friend started praying and I was thinking: Antoneta, you are a girl, your parents sacrificed themselves and you can't end up a prostitute", Antoneta said.

Asked by Dojna Mema why she undertook this trip and what she wanted to do in Serbia, Antoneta replied: "I went for a training, where students from different countries in Europe gather. But also to lower barriers and create rapprochement between Serbia, Albania and Kosovo."

"When we got there, the girl who met us with a very small car, 3 people and 4 suitcases, we packed up, but we didn't ask at all. We were so scared, but also happy that we escaped," Antoneta said.
