The hearing against the mayor of Kllokot and the doctor accused of forging the UCCK discharge certificate is canceled
At the Basic Court in Pristina, Tuesday's hearing in the case where Bozhidar Dejanovic - mayor of Kllokot, together with doctor Bekim Ademi, are accused of forgery of an official document and legalization of false content, has been canceled. The cancellation of the hearing was made at the request of Dejanovic's defense attorney, lawyer Mexhai Syla, for health reasons.
Doctor Ademi is accused of forging a document (discharge sheet) at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK), so that Dejanović could use it as an excuse for his absence from a session at the Basic Court in Pristina. According to the indictment, Ademi compiled the discharge sheet and included incorrect data in it, allegedly stating that Dejanović had been in bed at the hospital from August 28 to 30, 2021, reports "Oath for Justice".
The cancellation of Tuesday's session was confirmed by the office of the case judge, Rrahman Beqiri.
According to the indictment of the Special Prosecution, on August 30, 2021 at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK), Bekim Ademi, in his capacity as a doctor at the Cardiovascular Clinic, intentionally falsified the official document - the discharge slip dated August 30, 2021, in order to help the defendant Bozhidar Dejanović - Mayor of the Municipality of Kllokot, to postpone the court session of August 31, 2021.
According to the indictment, it is said that Ademi and Dejanovic agree on the phone, where on August 28, 2021, Ademi, in his capacity as a caregiver at the Clinic, admits Dejanovic to the hospital, allegedly for a medical check-up, placing him in bed rest, but that on the same day, the defendant Dejanovic, after being registered in the ward, leaves the hospital, while Ademi compiles the official document - the discharge form and enters incorrect data in it, allegedly stating that Dejanovic remained in bed rest in the hospital from August 28 to 30, 2021.
Ademi reportedly gave this release form to the accused Dejanović, who then handed it over to his lawyer, and finally the lawyer handed it over to the court, requesting a postponement of the hearing. The lawyer's proposal was approved, and the hearing was postponed to another date.
Therefore, for these actions, Ademi is being charged with the criminal offense: "Forgery of an official document" under Article 427, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
In the second count of the indictment, it is stated that on August 30, 2021, at the Basic Court in Pristina - Special Department, Dejanović, in his capacity as the defendant, misled the presiding judge, using a forged document, in order to justify his absence from the session and postpone the session.
Dejanović is accused of going to the UCCK on August 30, 2021, receiving a discharge form with falsified data regarding the signature and content, claiming that he was hospitalized from August 28, 2021 to August 30, 2021, and handing the same document over to his lawyer, who then forwarded the document to the court at the August 31, 2021 hearing, justifying the defendant's absence by saying that he had health problems.
With this, Dejanović is being charged with the criminal offense: “Legalization of false content” under Article 395, paragraph 2 in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code for these actions.
Otherwise, the session in which Dejanović was absent concerns the trial where, in his capacity as mayor of Kllokot, he was sentenced to one year of suspended imprisonment for the criminal offense of violating the free determination of voters. /Oath for Justice
