Apple presents a surprise laptop

For five years in a row, the company couldn't find comfort with the butterfly keyboard, at least not until the 2015 MacBook.

Sooner or later, Apple was expected to introduce a 13-inch MacBook Pro with the Magic Keyboard, and today it did.

The laptop comes with 10th-generation Intel processors and a base price of $1,299. At first glance, it might seem like a minor update, but it represents the end of an era because Apple no longer sells laptops with a butterfly keyboard.

This keyboard has had numerous problems over the years, with its replacement first appearing on the 16-inch MacBook Pro introduced in November 2019, followed by a MacBook Air in March of this year.

As for the new 13-inch model, Apple sticks with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C ports. Touch Bar and fingerprint scanner is also there.

But the new MacBook Pro comes with the new RAM memory of 16GB RAM with a high frequency of 3,733Mhz and starts from the 256GB SSD. The RAM memory can be increased up to 32GB while the memory up to 4TB.

Regarding the Intel processors, Apple says that the 10th generation has a Turbo frequency of 4.1Ghz and Iris graphics which can handle even the full 6K resolution of the Pro Display XDR screen.

The base model comes with 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM. A step up to 16GB of RAM costs $100, down from the $200 it cost on previous models. There were speculations that the screen could be increased to 14-inch, but that did not happen in this case.

The 13-inch display can reach up to 500 nits of brightness and supports the P3 color gamut. The laptop can be ordered from today at Apple stores and the company's authorized resellers.
