Borrell's statement on border changes provokes major reactions

The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, stated in an interview yesterday that he is not against changing the borders between Kosovo and Serbia if the two countries agree on this.

Ben Hodges, former commander of the US Army in Europe, has reacted to the statement of the European Union High Representative, Josep Borell.

He wrote on Twitter that he agrees that Europe and the US should give the two presidents of Kosovo and Serbia space to find a solution.

"I agree. The EU and US should allow space for the two presidents to find local solutions. Not red lines or lectures from outsiders. Instead give them hope for Western integration, protect them from the destructive effects of the Kremlin, the SOC and internal disputes," Hodges wrote on Twitter.
