"Durrës is making preparations but the tourist season will not be like usual"

The Deputy Mayor of Durrës, Florian Tahiri, said that due to Covid-19, there will not be a tourist season as usual and the number of tourists will not be as usual.

He said that businesses have begun preparations and are hopeful that Kosovo citizens will come and spend their holidays in Durrës.

Tahiri said that there will be some measures related to distancing, but the tourism plan has not yet been finalized.

"The plan is being finalized and there will be sufficient information on how the beach will be developed this year," he said.
