Dinamo Zagreb will review the case of its striker Lirim Kastrati, who caused discontent in Croatia yesterday evening when he violated COVID protection rules by celebrating his birthday at his home with 10-15 people.

Through an official response, the Croatian champions stated that “Kastrati feels hurt that his party has disappointed public opinion”, but “this has not affected the preparations for the upcoming championship match against Rijeka”. However, Dinamo Zagreb confirmed that they will make a decision on the 22-year-old’s behavior.

Lirim Kastrati's birthday was today and yesterday evening at his apartment, together with his girlfriend and some friends, he celebrated after midnight.

Although he believes he has done nothing wrong or that his birthday party has affected preparations for upcoming matches, Kastrati expresses regret that the news and posts on social media have caused concern at the club.
