The American physicist praises Kosovo for the way it managed the pandemic
The American physicist, Yaneer Bar-Yam, through a post on Twitter, has praised the work done by Kosovo's institutions in the fight against Covid-19.
He says that despite a weak health system, thanks to quick actions and expert advice, Kosovo is doing even better than Sweden in the fight against the pandemic that has hit the world.

"Thanks to quick and decisive actions following the advice of local and international experts, including our own, the death rate per capita is 20 times lower than in Sweden. Despite the lack of resources and weak health system, one of the poorest countries in Europe has become a success story", wrote Bar-Yam.
However, he calls for citizens in Kosovo to continue to adhere to the Government's measures, as according to him, only in that way can a rapid increase in infections be avoided.
"However, in Kosovo, people must respect the Government's measures for public health. Restrictions should be lifted gradually in order to avoid a rapid increase in infections, which could be worse than the first. Taking maximum care in this critical time wins the race", wrote Yaneer Bar-Yam.
