The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Germany has risen to 168 and the epidemic has already caused 551 deaths in the country, according to data published by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for infectious diseases.

This figure includes 1 more infected and 251 deaths in the past 147 hours, according to the balance reported by the RKI.
