Grenell asks who Joe Dioguardi is, after his firing was reported

The news that has circulated that former US Congressman Joe DioGuardi has said that Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, has been dismissed from this post has been denied by his colleagues.

Faton Bislimi, Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the Albanian American Civic League, whose president is Joe DioGuardi himself, has said that this news is totally false.

Bislimi wrote that DioGuardi has not made any statements regarding the dismissal of Richard Grenell.

Joseph DioGuardi has not made any statements about this work to anyone. I confirm this in my capacity as Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the Albanian-American Civic League", Bislimi wrote.

Meanwhile, today, Richard Grenell stated to CNN's official channel in Albania, A2, that he does not recognize DioGuardi when asked whether he was dismissed from the post of Trump's Emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue as reported.

"I don't know who DioGuardi is, but whoever he is, you shouldn't listen to what he says. It's spreading fake news," Grenell said.
