Haradinaj for Indeksonline: Kurti and others should not be denied the right to run!

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has called the decision of state bodies to remove from the list candidates who had problems with the law unfair.

In an interview for Indeksonline, Haradinaj said he was surprised by the recent developments at the CEC.

"We are affected by this decision because four of our colleagues have had difficulties. Now, finally, we will replace 3 of them, 1 has passed," he said.

Further, Haradinaj assesses that confusion has been created by the judiciary's interference in the right to run in the February 14 elections.

"I am categorically against denying anyone the right to run. It is a basic right. In this case, I think that Mr. Kurti and other MPs should not deny you the right to run," he declared.

The leader of AAK also spoke about the polls published on television.

"We don't worry too much about the polls. We are the first in the seven municipalities that we govern. We are going to over 20 deputies. We have given a governing program. We have 13 doctors of science on the list. I will be a candidate for president", he declared. /Indeksonline/
