Former Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj has said that Albin Kurti is pursuing an anti-American and anti-Albanian policy, damaging Kosovo's interests for his own political interests.
Former Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj said in an interview with Euronews Albania that Albin Kurti is pursuing an anti-American and anti-Albanian policy, damaging Kosovo's interests for his own political interests.
"Kosovo has often been conditioned by the EU in an unfair way, certain countries have wanted to leave it isolated. But we have had genuine American, British, German, and French support that have led to the recognition of Kosovo. It has been the duty of Kurti's government to make a solution in the interest of Kosovo, and I think that the "Kurti" government, especially with the failure to obtain candidate status after 3 years of application, shows that Kosovo is isolated from the EU not only because of someone in Brussels, but above all because of Kurti who has pursued an anti-European, anti-Albanian, anti-American policy. Kurti came to power with a pro-Albania platform and over the years he has mostly brought an anti-Tirana political platform that does not unite the countries. This behavior of his in the region has damaged Kosovo's interest and has served Kurti to create a sense of injustice among the citizens of Kosovo," said Hoxhaj.
