IPK recommends the suspension of two police officers

The Kosovo Police Inspectorate recommended the suspension of two police officers, who are suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Ill-treatment while exercising official duty or public authorizations" provided for in Article 198 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

This institution on November 5 of this year received a complaint from citizens regarding the behavior of two police officers from the South Police Station in the Pristina Regional Directorate. After receiving the complaint, a preliminary investigation was initiated by PIK investigators with the suspicion that these police officers had committed the above-mentioned offense.

In accordance with the PIK law, as part of the investigative procedure, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate has recommended to the Kosovo Police the suspension of these two police officers of the South Police Station until the conclusion of this investigation.

The PIK, in consultation with the competent Prosecutor's Office, will continue the investigation of this case until the full disclosure of this event.Indeksonline/
