Isa Mustafa comments on Glauk Konjufca's statement, comes to Valdete Daka's defense

LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa has reacted to the statement of Glauk Konjufca of VV, who last night accused the CEC chairwoman Valdete Daka of preventing his party leader Albin Kurti from running for MP in the February 14 elections.

Blaming the CEC Chairperson to the point of threatening her, because she is implementing the Constitutional Court's judgment, is unfair and impermissible. The Constitutional Court's judgment on the Etem Arifi case is essentially strange, because it resembles more a new writing of constitutional norms, than an interpretation of existing norms, which should be the Court's scope of action. After all, the judgment itself is a derivative of the case initiated by LVV. We, as LDK, did not like it either. Not because it limits the right of those convicted of criminal offenses to run for a legislative mandate, because it is not okay to be both a legislator and a lawbreaker, but because of the fact that the Court overthrew the Parliament!? A little is too much in a Parliamentary democracy. Therefore, do not attack Ms. Daka, because you have no right. IM
