Isa Mustafa: Stop the witch wars, borders are not changing, don't be afraid of dialogue

LDK leader Isa Mustafa has stated that no one can change Kosovo's borders if we trust ourselves not to change them.

Mustafa said that this is in their own hands and responsibility and that it is not Grenell, Borrell or Lajcak who are changing borders and exchanging territories.

"No one can change the borders of Kosovo, if we trust ourselves not to change them. This is in our hands and our responsibility."

"It is not Grenell, nor Borelli, nor Lajcak who change borders and exchange territories. Therefore, it is unworthy to justify our reluctance to engage in dialogue with the risk of "butchering" Kosovo," Mustafa said, reports Indeksonline.

According to him, one must trust the US and the European Union and that one must trust Kosovo and that this is the only approach to dialogue.

"Population and witchcraft are not getting us anywhere. Only communist countries have survived to their end, producing opponents and enemies. When they ran out of opponents, they ran out of themselves," Mustafa continued.

The LDK leader added that Kosovo has declared independence in this territory and these borders, as the Declaration of Independence states, and that there is no reason to open this topic.

"Therefore, we have no reason to open this topic, because we open the topic of the independence of our state, which has been closed with the opinion of the International Court of Justice. But, also, we have no reason to be afraid of dialogue. We must dialogue so that, within these borders and with this territory that we have, Serbia recognizes us, we can join the UN, we can be recognized by five other EU countries and we can join NATO. This is a direct interest of our state; it is also an interest of the mediators from the US and those from the EU, because this ensures stability in this part of the world and opens a new perspective of economic development", he concluded./Indeksonline/
