"We agree on Syria and Iran, but...", Trump publishes Macron's message to Greenland
US President Donald Trump has published on the social network Truth Social a screenshot that, according to him, is a message sent by French President Emmanuel Macron, questioning US policy towards Greenland.
Alongside the caption "Note from President Emmanuel Macron of France," the published message reads: "My friend, we completely agree on Syria. We can do great things for Iran. I don't understand what you're doing with Greenland."
The release of the message comes amid a tense climate between the two leaders. In recent days, Macron has called Trump's threat of tariffs over Greenland "unacceptable" and has rejected an invitation to join a "peace board" for the reconstruction of Gaza.
Asked about this refusal, Trump He said briefly: "Nobody wants him."
