Konjufca emerges from the Prosecution: Thaçi and Veseli wanted to remove LVV from the political scene

The Vice President of Vetëvendosje, Glauk Konjufca, has given his testimony at the Basic Prosecution Office of Pristina, after being invited for an interview regarding the criminal complaint that he and the leader of LVV, Albin Kurti, had filed against President Hashim Thaçi and the leader of PDK, Albin Kurti.

Konjufca said that with their statements, Thaçi and Veseli aimed to link the LVV with terrorism and murders during the war, writes the newspaper "Sinjali".

"They have declared that we are the founders of the organization "Syri i popullit" and that we have written KLA communiqués related to the killings during the war in Kosovo as well as the post-war killings in Kosovo. These are the claims of Thaçi and Veseli to link Vetëvendosje with terrorism and the killings of the war during our liberation war but also during the year 2000. This is unacceptable to us and this is the reason why we have sued Thaçi and Veseli for making false statements under oath," said Konjufca.

The purpose of these accusations, according to Konjufca, was that Thaçi and Veseli wanted to remove LVV from the political scene by making it a terrorist organization.

"They have a political goal, considering VV as a political opponent, to commit such serious criminal offenses through false declarations in order to disqualify the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, and me from the political scene," he said.
