Over 10 people vaccinated against seasonal flu at the QKMF in Pristina

At the Main Family Medicine Center (MFC) in Pristina, since December last year, when vaccination against seasonal flu began, over 10 citizens have been vaccinated, reports Ekonomia Online.

Xhevrije Canolli, a family physician at this center, has indicated which categories of people are recommended to receive this vaccine.

"This vaccine is recommended for people over 65 years of age, people with chronic diseases, pregnant women, and is not recommended for people with allergies and chronic diseases."

She emphasized that all other citizens can also receive this vaccine as there is still no vaccine for Covid-19 in our country.

While Bahtije Breznica said that she gets this vaccine every year, EO reports.

"I am glad I am getting this vaccine and I am no longer afraid to get this vaccine."

In partnership with the Ministry of Health, UNICEF has managed to provide 165.000 doses of the flu vaccine, 60 percent more than in 2019.
