Memli Krasniqi: We invite Kurti to the debate once again

Monday, 18 January 2021 21:54PDK Presidency member Memli Krasniqi said on the Pressing show on T7 that they will again invite VV leader Albin Kurti for a public debate.
The first invitation of PDK's candidate for prime minister, Enver Hoxhaj, for a public debate was rejected by Kurti.
He had said that there was no need to debate with Hoxhaj, as the parties were fighting for second place.
Krasniqi admits that it was PDK itself that several years ago rejected Kurti's invitation for a public debate, but says that the invitation to Kurti still stands.
"We invite Kurti to the debate once again," he said.
"Without Avdullah Hoti. He can be there if he wants, but I don't think it's up to him to be there. Most of the candidates are old. It doesn't stop us. But I don't think he can offer anything else. Citizens want a debate between Hoxhaj and Kurti," he said.
He further said that VV has not presented a new plan for these elections. He says that the country has faced the pandemic and that the situation is not the same.
"It would be ridiculous if they offered the same plan again," he added.
