Milaim Zeka was a witness to the case when Fatmir Sheholli was arrested: Many have behaved well, I have only just seen them!
Fatmir Sheholli was arrested today by the Kosovo Police, on suspicion of espionage.
Sources of IndeksOnline They claimed that the well-known journalist, Milaim Zeka, was also at the scene during Sheholli's arrest.
The latter said about IndeksOnlineHe said he had gone out to drink coffee, and was not at all concerned by Sheholli's arrest.
"I went out to have coffee. Fatmir was staying at the hotel and I was staying with someone else, with my friends. They came and arrested him. I was there to have coffee… we are colleagues, we know Fatmir, our journalists… I didn't worry! Why should I worry… when you haven't done anything! Not only towards me, but also towards Fatmir Sheholli, the police approach was super correct. They addressed him, they said "Mr. Sheholli, you are under arrest for espionage". That's it! There was nothing else. Many behaved well, I just looked around". Zeka declared for IndeksOnline.
As for the situation in general, Zeka says he has no comment. The only thing that shocked him was the announcement made by the acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, immediately after the arrest.
"I have no comment on this whole situation. This is very serious! When someone accuses him of espionage… the state should have the comments. In my opinion, what is the biggest surprise, when the Minister of the Interior comes out in a statement… one can only be shocked, when the Minister of the Interior comes out in a statement, for me that was the biggest surprise.
The Minister of the Interior does not come out to make statements when someone is arrested for espionage. Plus, when the highest bodies were involved in the case: the AKI, the police and all of that. This was very shocking to me: to see where this state has degraded and what interference it makes in police and security matters", declared Zeka.
Currently, Fatmir Sheholli's apartment is being raided by the relevant units, while what led to his arrest, according to the Special Prosecution Office, was a months-long investigation conducted by intelligence and security agencies.IndeksOnline/
