MINT and KIESA: Support for a more competitive manufacturing industry

Industrial Performance 2025 and plans for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for the coming year were presented at the annual conference organized by MINT and the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency – KIESA.

"Our public debt is the lowest in Europe, around 16% of the gross domestic product, which has enabled the Government of Kosovo to have sovereign policies, then economic growth above 4%, the sovereign credit rating confirmed at 2B-, the banking sector generally well capitalized, these are not just numbers for reports but a guarantee for you entrepreneurs that Kosovo is a serious address for long-term investments," said the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, during this conference.

Acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, has revealed the details of plans to support businesses for 2026. She said that the goal is to create more start-ups for small and medium-sized businesses.

"We have proposed new measures, with an emphasis on reducing the trade deficit, facilitating green industry, maximizing value addition, and the 2026-2028 action plan that focuses mainly on financing, human capital development, technology, exports with the aim of increasing the added value of our country, employment and competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in Kosovo," she said.
