Mulaj: Rugova Mountains a national priority, construction of a modern road vitally important

The candidate for deputy from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Dr. Sci. Besim Mulaj, has stated that the Rugova Mountains should be treated as a priority above priorities.

Emphasizing that this area today faces legal barriers that are blocking economic development, quality tourism and sustainable investments.

According to him, the current legal framework for national parks is hindering agritourism, family initiatives and rural microbusinesses, leaving residents without real development opportunities.

Mulaj also emphasized the vital importance of building a modern road connecting Peja with Rugova, underlining that laws should serve as a means of balancing nature protection and development.
