Osmani will be in Washington tomorrow for the Peace Board meeting

President Vjosa Osmani has confirmed that she will be in Washington on February 19 to participate in the first meeting of the Peace Board, of which Kosovo also became a part.

"We are truly proud to have joined President Trump, the United States of America and other allies in this international organization, which was founded in Davos and will soon hold its first inaugural meeting in Washington DC, for which I will travel there to represent the Republic of Kosovo," she said in an interview with Kanal10.

At this inaugural meeting, she said that "there are countries that will concretize their support, there are countries that express their commitment which is later concretized."

Osmani said that "many positive things have been done, including support for NATO membership" as "the result of very close work with the 'Trump' administration."

This support, she said, "is also reflected in the letter sent by the president" for the 18th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.
