"The Emergency Package is being misused, someone should go to jail"

An overwhelming majority of private companies have unfairly benefited from the Fiscal Emergency Package, namely the 170 euro salary of workers.

This was stated today by the chairman of the Independent Private Sector Union, Jusuf Azemi, who added that there was misuse in the distribution of financial resources.

"The reason for this conference is the scandal with the salaries of private sector workers. It is a total abuse. We are carefully following this action, and we are asking for it to stop. Many companies that provide services in institutions have also benefited financially from salary packages of 170 euros. It is a scandal, whether intentionally or unintentionally, time will tell. So, millions of euros will go to the owners, but not to the workers. The Ministry of Finance and Transfers has also undertaken to examine this issue, after a meeting we had with the Deputy Minister of Finance and Transfers. For this action, someone should go to prison," says Azemi.

He added that if this provision of funds without criteria continues, doubled by the state, there will probably be no funds for the second month for the salary of 170 euros for workers who deserve this salary.
