Pandemic/To date, 2,841 requests for return to Kosovo have been addressed

She has indicated that to date, 2,841 requests for return to the country have been addressed, while 1,482 have been repatriated so far, all of them organized by the Government, she reports. Indeksonline.

It seems that some people love the idea of ​​protagonism in times of pandemic. The most important thing in this situation is the numbers and their accuracy. I think this is not the time to be misinformed. Therefore, let me inform you that so far, according to the instructions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MFAD), the embassies of Kosovo have initially made public calls for all citizens who are stranded outside Kosovo to report to the embassies and consulates of Kosovo, those who are interested in being repatriated to Kosovo.

To date, 2,841 requests for return to the country have been addressed, while up to now, around 1,482 citizens have returned, repatriated through government organizations, with around 10 flights, 4 buses and private cars.

 The remaining part waiting will be returned in the coming days. We ask for understanding from the citizens who are still waiting for their return. The staff of the MFA and our diplomats are constantly working in this direction.

I believe that every criticism and suggestion helps us improve. But I ask that there be as many critical and demanding voices and at the same time be willing to help the diaspora with their right to vote, pensions, supplementary education, and their engagement in policymaking...
