Pope calls on EU leaders for cooperation and harmony during pandemic
Pope Francis today called on the leaders of European Union member states to work together to deal with the social and economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
During his Sunday service, the Pope noted that 75 years have passed since Europe began the challenging process of reconciliation after World War II, a process that led to European integration and a “long period of stability and peace.”
