Works on the Tabaku Bridge are completed

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the project "Dialogue between communities through comprehensive preservation of cultural heritage", funded by the EU Instrument for Peace and Stability (IcSP/EU) and the municipality of Gjakova will mark the completion of works on the rehabilitation and regulation of the Tabaku Bridge and the surrounding area.

Work on this 18th-century bridge began in July and continued for four months, during which a number of works were carried out, including the construction of the promenade and walkways, electrification and painting of murals.

As in the case of the Tereziva bridge, UNDP collaborated with the municipality, which financed some of the restoration work on the Tabaku bridge.

The special ceremony will be held today from 15:00 PM near the Tabaku Bridge in Gjakova with the participation of senior representatives of UNDP and the Municipality of Gjakova.
