"The government should prioritize border areas"

The Mayor of the Municipality of Han i Elez, Rufki Suma, has called on the Government of Kosovo to treat the border areas with more priority.

In an interview given to the newspaper "Epoka e re", he said that the municipality he leads needs greater support from the Government.

Suma said that the Municipality of Hani Elez still does not have support from the Government for any concrete project.

"From any government, whether it is led by PDK, LDK or now by AAK, we have received average support", said Suma.

According to him, the Government can help the citizens of this municipality by opening some temporary border points.

Suma has shown that these temporary border points would facilitate the movement of people to work the lands they have across the border.
