Real Madrid offer 40 million euros for Leipzig defender

The release clause is worth 60 million euros, but Leipzig, due to the financial crisis caused by Covid-19, finds it difficult to obtain such an amount, so according to what Spanish media reports, the German club may reduce its demands for Upamecano from 60 to 40 million euros.
They may even be forced to accept such a sum, as the player's contract expires next summer and they risk losing the player without benefiting a single penny.
