Rita Ora poses as the Virgin Mary

Rita Ora has attracted attention with a photo shoot taken in Los Angeles, where she appeared in controversial poses, posing as the Virgin Mary.

The 34-year-old singer appeared wearing an angelic white dress and a cape that covered her head.

He held white beads in his hands and posed in several symbolic positions, including with his hands clasped together as if in prayer.

The photoshoot, which recreated a Christian scene, was shot by famous photographer David LaChapelle, known for his collaborations with stars such as Britney Spears, David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Tupac.

But while the photos made headlines in the media, in private life Rita Ora is facing fierce criticism from her neighbours in Primrose Hill, where she owns a £7.5 million mansion. Her plans to build a gym in the garden of the house, removing 150-year-old architectural features, have caused great discontent.

Local residents have called the project a visual nuisance and accused the singer of hypocrisy, arguing that the intervention threatens a sensitive natural habitat.

This isn't the first time Rita has clashed with her neighbors - previously, the "Hot Right Now" singer has been accused of excessive partying and noise at two other London residences.
